Stories by the fire.

Last night we built our first fire in the new house. The kids loved it. They lifted their shirts and warmed their tummies....then proceeded to pull their pants down and warm their butts. Hey, I would have done the same thing. Finally, daddy read them a bedtime story by the fire and put them to bed. It was a great ending to the day.

It's been awhile.

Dear blog friends,

I understand many of you have been anticipating a new post from me. Most of you are probably just dying for some new pics of the kids. Rest assured there are Christmas photos that need posting. Many of my reflections have been lost in the day to day activities. It seems December flew right past me and here we are in the middle of january. My personality denies me from concentrating on two things at once. If i focus on something that is ALL I focus on until it's complete. First it was christmas and christmas lights. Next it was moving into a new home just last week. So far (after a few frustrating attempts) we have not been able to enjoy the luxury of internet just yet. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be back to my usual self and postings will come weekly.

For now, don't give up on my blog. There is more to come as we embark on a new and exciting year.
